Job 1 - in the storage space under the stairs the previous own installed a base station for an alarm with very confusing low voltage wiring. We want it all removed. Job 2 - move existing power point. The electrical wire comes up through the floor board so it would need to be pulled back through it and then a new hole drilled through floorboard a metre away. Has gone subfloor access. Job 3 - led downlighting above stove top has died, hopefully the LED needs to be replaced as it’s a a new reno so wiring is new

Hello, We are looking for a licensed NSW Electrician to attend our retail store, in Broadway Sydney (Ultimo), to replace a faulty light switch. The Issue: We have a 4-gang light switch plate on our sales floor wall where one of the switches (circled in red in the attached photo) has failed. It will not off. This switch controls approximately 23 ceiling downlights, our front entrance illuminated "EYETESTS" sign, and our window display lightboxes. We are currently unable to turn these lights off at closing time. The Job: The task is to replace the faulty switch. The scope of work includes: 1. Safely isolating power to the lighting circuit. 2. Removing the switch plate and supplying and installing a complete new white 4-gang switch plate. 3. Testing the new switch to ensure it successfully toggles all connected downlights and shopfront signage ON and OFF. Please note: The successful contractor MUST supply the necessary replacement parts (replacement of new 4-gang switch plate). The cost for these materials must be included in your final offer. In the kitchen there are two track lighting units operating from one light switch. One has stopped working as you will see from the photos. Could it be a loose connection at the track unit? It is possible I may have loosened a connection while struggling to replace fused bulbs in the unit.

As in description, remove fluorescent light and install down light. Would be open to two downlights if necessary but the space is small, so I think one would be enough. I’ve included a photo of the type of downlight I would like installed to match others around the unit.

Greetings all, I’m looking for a keen off-grid Electrical Engineer in the Newcastle area with marine experience, to get involved in the final stages of commissioning my solar sailboat. All work to take place in northern Lake Macquarie, New South Wales. I’m in Glebe Sydney. What’s needed; -Drawing up of final circuit diagram to be supplied to installer. -cross checking design parameters/tolerances for newly installed motor, batteries and solar panels so as to comply with the Australian standard. The boat; -33 foot Compass Innovator -Power Flow B10 motor (installed but not connected) -48v 630ah Battery bank. 32 cells of EVE MB31. (Installed but not connected) - Two JK 300amp BMS controllers (uninstalled). -1500 watts of solar panels (installed)… With the possibility to increase to 2400w upon consultation. -Growatt SPF 5000TL HVM-P off-grid inverter (uninstalled) This is a passion project and I’m looking for somebody with the same outlook. Swapping out old diesels for new clean electrics in existing boats is an exciting and expanding area, and I’m looking for somebody who is interested in this new field.
