I need someone to help me secure a mirror (119cm width, 116cm height, not heavy) above a fireplace. The mirror will rest on the fireplace mantel for stability, so it will just need two hooks screwed into the wall to hold the 'loops' on either side of the back of the mirror. I think the steps are (but please feel free to suggest a different method!): (A) scan the areas on wall above fireplace with a detector to ensure no live wires/pipes before drilling (B)drill into wall and insert Super Grips (I have these), then screw the two hooks (also have these) into place. (C) lift mirror onto fireplace and ensure grips are holding the loops securely. I have already measured and marked in pencil where I think the two hooks should go but please check it's right too.
