I'm looking for someone experienced in cutting natural stone to resize a marble fireplace hearth that I intend to repurpose as a floating mantelpiece. Current dimensions: - Length: 122 cm - Depth: 38 cm - Thickness: 2 cm, with a built-up 6 cm front lip Required dimensions: - Length: 120 cm - Depth: 25 cm - Retain the existing 6 cm front lip Work required: - Cut the marble to the required dimensions. - Smooth and neatly finish any visible cut edges. - Avoid damaging the existing front lip. Ideally, I'm looking for someone who already has the appropriate stone-cutting equipment and experience working with marble. Happy for the work to be completed at my property or taken to a workshop. Cutting only — no installation or brackets required. Please let me know your availability and quote for the work.

Looking for a tiler. Fireplace hearth needs some cement and old tiles removed / surfaced (i imagine!). I then have marble tile off-cuts of various sizes left over which would need to be cut to a uniform size and used for the hearth. Looking for a professional finish.

Hi! We need a mirror and mantle installed and mounted on the wall above the fireplace and also a full length mirror mounted in the hallway. I don't have the screws/ mounts ect for the hallway mirror. The flat is a Victorian terrace so I think the fireplace wall might be plaster and lath but I'm not sure, would be good to have someone with experience with this please.
