Looking to get our existing fireplace removed and capped off and build a new media wall with an electric fireplace installed. I'm looking have my current fireplace surround removed. Ideally I'd like the surround presevered, but can be flexible. I'm having the drywall skimmed, so minor damage to wall is acceptable. - Due date: Flexible

Need the fireplace (marble) all 3 parts- 2 sides and top part fitting to the wall and secured safely as have 2 v small children. Parts arev heavy so can not just be glued on. Need fixing and securing to wall. Looked at a video on utube and looks like it’ll need copper wire drilled into it to secure it and plastered to the herth? And wall?
