I’m looking for an experienced professional to install a heavy, natural marble fireplace surround onto an existing indoor gas fireplace. The marble surround has been purchased online and delivered. All components are on-site and ready for installation. Scope of work: * Professionally assemble and install the marble fireplace surround, including the two side columns, top mantelpiece and decorative trim. * Securely fix and support all components, ensuring the installation is structurally sound, level and safe. * Use appropriate adhesives, fixings and installation techniques suitable for natural marble and the existing wall/fireplace. * Ensure a neat, high-quality finish without damaging the marble or surrounding surfaces. Important details: * The marble is extremely heavy, with a combined weight exceeding 200kg. * This will likely require two experienced installers * The existing fireplace is already installed. This job is for installation of the decorative marble surround only. * Please see attached photos showing the marble components and existing fireplace. Availability: Ideally, the installation must take place on Thursday 15 October. I’m flexible on timing throughout the day.
