Install a new wooden fireplace in a 1977 built home. We have moved into this house recently and strongly feel we need a fireplace. Need someone to come and check if it’s possible and if yes , what does the timelines and costs look like

Job description We want to use existing structure in our kitchen ('fireplace') to install a cook top and a range hood in cavity. However, the top of the opening is to low according Australian standards. The task consists of a few parts . You can make your offer for any part or parts or for whole task. The task: - to cut out a part of the fireplace front as per pic #3(in red) to bring the opening height to the requirements of Australian standards and install a steel lintel. - if required, modify internal structure to prepare it to mount a range hood (possible install a sheet of material to hold a range hood) - if required, modify chimney internal channel to install a duct connected to the range hood - supply and install inside the chimney channel a steel duct/flue Please, let me know if you've done similar job before. I have an existing Fireplace mantle which has a 950x665 opening for insert. I would like to have a electric fireplace installed in to it. However I am finding it difficult to find a electric fireplace that fits these dimensions (usually they are smaller) I need someone to come assess the situation and let me know what options are available to install an electric fireplace in to the existing mantle. Flueing on site however additional flueing May be required (unsure!) Please ensure to google the specs etc prior to attending.
