I’m looking for someone experienced with aluminium sliding windows. Scope of Work • Clean and lubricate window tracks on 6 aluminium sliding windows (inside and out where possible). • Replace worn rollers and seals to improve smooth operation and stop rattling/drafts. • Repair or replace fly screens where damaged or loose (re-mesh if needed). • Fix or replace locking mechanism on one window that currently doesn’t close or lock properly. Flexible – weekdays or weekends okay, just need someone who can complete all 6 in one visit. Please quote for labour + standard parts (rollers, seals, fly screen mesh, lock repair).

Window isn’t closing fully (about 1cm from closing completely) after cleaners tampered with it so I’m not sure what the obstruction or problem is that’s preventing it from closing. Need a handyman to diagnose and fix it

Hi, I’m looking for someone to replace three damaged window handles.

I’m need my window repaired for end of lease. I have bought the glass just need it installed before 2pm Wednesday.

Window above hallway is leaking in heavy rain. It is quite high up, so I cannot reach it from the internal stairs. I can't get up close enough to see exactly what the issue is.

I have a timber sash window that has sustained a section of rot to the staff bead and the junction of the stile and the meeting rail, on the upper sash. This has caused the meeting rail to slip downwards and expose the bottom edge of the glazing. Additionally, both sashes have perished glazing putty and that will require replacing. This job is not urgent and I’m flexible with timing. This sash is open to the elements so may not be able to be worked on during Melbourne’s wild weather. Please note : we have a sugar the house who is friendly.

1) Fly screens are torn at the back main door badly and needs a replacement. I will buy and provide the aluminium fly screen that I like. 2) replacement of manual door latch broken at the shed 3) screw loose in one big window which caused insects to come in. Need to tighten the screw. It is 7 feet high and I can't reach to it. 4) one screw loose at the one cupboard needs to tighten 5) one kitchen wooden window cannot push up and stuck and needs fixing it.

Carpenter/Handyman per hour basis to patch old air con vent holes, affix window latches, hang doors etc

There are two aspects to the job. One is to repair and seal the tops of two decorative window frames made of a frame with styrofoam that has been painted/rendered. Birds have pierced the paint and there are holes. These need to be filled and an impenetrable sheet (maybe metal or thin cement) needs to be cut to size and placed on top and sealed so that rain can’t get in to the window below. The second part is to replace a wooden window frame that has rotted as water was able to get through the decorative frame. The job will need scaffolding I believe as it’s 5m high.

My dog has chewed the window frame (2x areas) need this fixed up as if it hasn’t happened. Sanded, bogged and repainted at a guess?
