Hi there, I need an experienced glazier or handyman to help modify an existing tall sliding wardrobe door (approx. 2.9m – 3.0m high). Please refer to the attached photos for details. Scope of Work: 1. Cut Mirror: Cut the existing full-length mirror into two separate pieces — one main piece at 2400mm and a top piece at 600mm. 2. Frame Modification: Cut the side aluminum profiles to match the new split layout. 3. Add Mid-Rail & Timber Support: • Install a timber backing strip/rail to provide structural support for the middle join. • Supply and install two horizontal aluminum top/mid rails (connected/supported by the timber rail) to securely hold both split mirror panels in place. 4. Reassembly: Reassemble the complete door using the modified frame and original top/bottom tracks. Requirements: • Experience with glass/mirror cutting and aluminum frame assembly. • Must bring proper tools for precision glass and aluminum cutting. The mirror is 115cm by 192cm and is difficult to transport. It is in Storage King Fyshwick East. It is unframed. I was thinking it needed to be cut in situ? We are a Zonta, a Not- For - Profit org. Help appreciated!

I am seeking a professional with experience in cutting large mirrors to help with a project at my home. The mirror I need cut is over 1.4m x 1.5m in size and 6mm thick. It just need to be cut in a arch shape at the top. After cutting, it will also need to be wall-mounted, but not necessary. Polished edges will be great but not necessary after cutting. Remove top 8mm of existing wall mounted bathroom mirror or replace mirror with new wall mounted mirror to make both mirrors the same height so that new surrounding moulding can be attached to both mirrors (by us). Will pay extra if the whole left hand side mirror has to be replaced.
