Bathroom sliding door x2 needs repair. First one door cannot close properly, second one the bracket connecting the shower door to the wall is loose.

Sliding glass door not sliding......house built early 1990. Assume door needs to be removed, tracks cleaned and rollers replacing.

The sliding glass door is very difficult to lock. I have to pull the handle firmly towards me to get the door into the correct position before the lock will engage. It appears that the locking mechanism and the strike plate on the door frame may be misaligned. Please inspect and adjust or repair the lock so the door can be locked easily without excessive force. Please do not purchase any replacement parts beforehand. I'd prefer you to inspect the lock in person and attempt to repair or adjust the existing mechanism first. If replacement parts are necessary, please discuss this with me before proceeding.

Hi, I need someone to inspect and repair 3 large sliding doors at my home in Georges Hall, NSW. The issues are: • The lock is not working properly. • The doors seem misaligned and do not close smoothly. • May need adjustment of rollers, track, latch, handle, or lock mechanism.

I have a bathroom pocket/cavity sliding door that has come off its overhead track (see photos). I've tried to re-seat it myself without success. There's a wooden trim piece running along the side of the track mechanism that appears to be glued (not just screwed) to the door frame — I attempted to remove the screws but the trim won't budge, which is likely blocking access to the roller/track assembly. This might be a quick fix for someone experienced with sliding/cavity doors, but could also need a bit of carpentry work if the trim has to be carefully freed or replaced. Happy to increase the budget after an onsite look if more work is required. What's needed: -- Assess why the door has come off the track -- Free/remove the glued trim piece without damaging the frame (if needed) -- Re-hang the door and adjust rollers so it slides smoothly Reinstall or replace trim as needed Photos attached showing the door, the track mechanism, and the trim piece.
