We purchased the CJOY 56" ceiling fan https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BLCG66WS Need it installed on our downstairs ceiling. I'm 95% certain there's a joist at the existing light fitting to hang it from. Looking for somebody who has a fair amount of experience with ceiling fans as the reviews say it can be a bit tricky to get all the wiring into the ceiling rose. There's a picture of the fan in question and the space that we need it installed into. There are magnets on the ceilings showing crossbeams and then there seems to be another one going those through the fitting according to my studfinder. I live in a first floor flat and the ceiling height is 3.5m (11ft 6ins). The existing fitting is a standard lighting rose on a plasterboard ceiling. Aside from the flat above I've no idea what is on the other side of the plasterboard and what additional fittings may be required to adequately secure the fan. Please quote accordingly.

I need a ceiling fan (3 blades. 132cm diameter. 4-5kg weight) installed in the centre of the room. The ceiling is a plasterboard with a concrete frame sitting 5-6 inches above the plasterboard, about 2cm thick. To make it stable, the fan must be fitted to support mounted to the concrete or the sides of the ceiling. This may require cutting out and making good access holes on the plastboard. Note that there is no wooden joist. Currently, there is no direct electricity supply to the ceiling so this would need to be wired up from one of the supplies on the wall (including installing a switch with a fuse for this circuit). Note there is a ventilation duct in the ceiling. We don't think it should be in the way of where the fan would go, but work would need to account for the ventilation duct. Really good guy. Knows what he's doing. Hung a ceiling fan for us very securely in a job that other electricians had said wasn't possible to do. Was able to pull through electrical supply from the wall with very minimal damage. Offers a good price as well. Will be using again.
