I am looking for an experienced roofer to carry out repair work on my property’s roof. The job may include fixing leaks, replacing damaged tiles or slates, and ensuring the roof is secure and weatherproof. Please provide details of your experience, availability, and a quote for the repairs.

We have 3 chimneys that need brushing. One had a gas fired aga, probably pretty clean, another had a gas fire, again, probably pretty clean and one is a log burner. We recently moved in an are having big changes done to the fires and would like them swept clean first. I don’t know a price so I just guessed … we’re flexible on price.

I have a small leak in my PVC conservatory roof, the ingress occurs at the joints between twin wall panels at one corner of the roof. the conservatory is of standard construction and is about 20 years old.

Following a recently completed loft conversion, we have a total of 84 square meters of ceiling in 4 rooms which need to be fitted with semi rigid rockwool insulation and plasterboard. The loft already has wooden partition framing installed. However, except for one room, the other rooms in the loft do not yet have plasterboard or semi-rigid rock wall installed. Insulation: Two layers of semi rigid rock wool to be fitted in between the loft roof joists, leaving an air gap above, with already fitted first fix electrical cables for lights to be left hanging through ready for plaster-boarding. The first layer is 100mm insulation and the second layer either 100mm or 50mm insulation. Insulation is compression fitted. Plaster-boarding: Single layer of 15mm fire board to be fitted to 84 sq meters of loft ceiling joists. Other details. There are no stairs. Access via a ladder only. Plasterboard and insulation already in loft. Plasterboard screws supplied. Floor to ceiling height is 2.4 meters high. A 40cm high hopper is onsite to stand on. 4 telescopic plasterboard jacks also onsite. Looking for fitting within next 10 days.

We got a new dishwasher but was informed we would need to a plumber to install an insulation valve, we would need the plumber to provide the materials please.

Electric conservatory roof blinds haven’t been operational for some time. Now 2 of the brackets holding the wires in place have come away causing 2 of the blinds to not be taut
