This is a one-year old 2 storey townhouse. Upstairs has a balcony. Around the balcony is a roof. The roof seems to have developed a small leak next to where the roof meets the wall of the 2nd storey. Now since it's been raining so heavily the last few weeks the ground floor ceiling has a wet spot. The house is still under builder's warranty, but the builder is unreachable and I want to have this fixed before any more damage occurs. I am guessing the space where the roof meets / inserts into the house needs caulking.

Townhouse roof cavity. There is a leak around the decktide on the exhaust for the ducted heating which needs to be heat proof sealed. There's is also a small gap around the exhaust and when it rains, it drips down onto the yellow tongue board which the heater sits on.

This is a new 2 story townhouse. It has a colorbond roof. Lately it started making loud popping / banging noises, especially in the morning as the temperature warms up. I've told the builder and they've sent a handyman to add some bolts to a section of the roof. That hasn't made a difference, if anything it made it worse. I am looking for a qualified roofer to investigate what might be the issue. As far as I can tell the whole roof makes these noises, not just a section of it. There's roof on the ground floor and the second floor. The roof above the ground floor is much more of an issue for me. There's access to the roof from the backyard as well as from the balcony.
