Find an experienced handyman in Southbank

My kitchen sink is blocked and draining very slowly. I’ve tried basic methods but the blockage is still there. I’m looking for someone experienced with plumbing or drain clearing to come and unblock it.

Looking for someone to fix up and repaint one bedroom that has some messy "DIY" patches from previous tenants. The goal is to get the walls back to a smooth, professional finish. Current Condition: The walls currently have uneven patches where holes were filled poorly. I need these leveled out so they aren't visible once painted.

I have a crack in my wall that is about 1.3m long. I would like it repaired and painted. There is also a vertical cracks about 1.5m long on the same wall. You must have experience doing these sorts of repairs.

After peeling off Velcro strips from the wall, it’s peeled back paint and some dry wall. This needs to be fixed asap. You’ll will need to bring your own tools for the job.

Need an experienced handyman/tradie to complete 3 tasks at my Southbank penthouse: 1. Install new locks on a built-in floor-to-ceiling cupboard (replacing existing cylinder locks) 2. Install shelves inside the cupboard (I have shelves available — if they don't fit, happy to pay extra for you to supply and install new ones) 3. Install a large wall clock on a ~6 metre high wall (you must bring a 6m+ ladder — this is a double-height penthouse) All three tasks need to be completed in a single visit. Must bring own tools and a tall ladder for the wall clock.

The screws are loose and cupboard door needs to be rehung- possibly new holes screwed or similar

One of our blinds doesn’t grip well as you roll it down. When you roll it down past the half way mark it begins to tumble down to the ground. So for example you can’t have it rolled 3/4 of the way down as it’ll just tumble all the way down. Hoping there’s someone that knows how to repair this rather than go for a replacement? I have attached pictures but I also have a video I can send that demonstrates this

The shower head won't stay upright. Keeps tilting forward and back. Finding it difficult to tighten it. Kitchen drawer seems to be stuck and can't pull it out.

Hi all I need a garden Tap installed at a venue in Southbank, Melbourne CBD. It’s in a tight space on our roof but accessible with a ladder or via the entranceway stairs if you’re good at yoga. We have all our water mains and utilities on the roof so you should have a few options. I have been told the yellow/brown plastic pipe circled in red is water. Trade is from 11am everyday, Tuesdays and Fridays would be ideal for the install as we have staff onsite from 7am. 9am everyday other day. Doesn’t need to be anything fancy or look pretty, it’s just so we have water access for gardening and cleaning that is hidden under our stairs and accessible to be turned on and off without getting onto the roof ourselves, as we plan on having a garden hose permanently attached to it.

The toilet seat is broken - should be a simple fix to replace it.

Need someone with experience to install two glass-to-glass shower door hinges on my shower door. The existing ones have failed after quite some time, and I've purchased the replacements that are sitting here ready to go. Will give everything a proper clean before you arrive.

Shower ceiling has collapsed after a water leak from apartment above. I’ve now fixed all the leak issues. Need someone to come in and Re-plaster the ceiling and then paint it to match rest of ceiling (same shade of white so that you can’t tell the difference- you might need to take a sample at bunnings and check it). I need a licensed electrician* to instal 2 Fanco Gaia DC ceiling fans with dimmable lighting. I would need these installed such that they do not disturb the ceiling or make noise while working. I believe there is electrical cabling brought up to the ceiling cavity (an electrician working on other matters 2y ago was instructed to do so). Please provide an Airtasker price without bringing cables and in comments let me know how much would it be additionally if the additional cabling work is needed. Two bedrooms are 3m x 3m and 4.2m x 3.2m, if that matters.
