Hi, House located in Pyrmont (near Sydney CBD) and I’m looking for a reliable and experienced carpenter/handyman to replace my entrance door, install two locks, and repair a small section of the door frame. Work details: 1, Replace entrance door + install locks The existing entrance door is damaged and is slightly smaller than a standard door. I will purchase a standard solid timber door from Bunnings (2040 x 820 x 40mm). I will paint the door first, then you will install it. The new door will require 2 door locks: 1 lock will be transferred from the old door, 1 lock will be a new lock (I will purchase it). The door will be hung using 3 hinges. 2, Door frame repair (lock strike area) There is a damaged section around the latch/strike hole on the door frame. The damaged timber possibly need to be cut out and replaced with a new piece of timber. I have marked the area in the photo with a green circle. Preferred timeframe: to be completed between 28 January and 5 February. Note: After I post this task, I’ll likely only check Airtasker once per day, so my replies may not be immediate. While installing marine blinds (1100mm long) we lost tension in the spring and can’t get it to retension. Just need someone who’s done this before should be a fairly quick job. I’m able to assist if needed.

Looking for someone to install a 15L pull out under sink bin. The task will involve drilling/mounting the bin under the sink. All materials (bin, screws, brackets) are provided — you just need to install it securely.

1/ Hang a curtain rod: screw 2 small pieces of timber into a concrete/brick wall (to extend timber already mounted on the wall – photo attached), and then screw 5 curtain rod brackets into the timber and hang the curtain rod. 2/ Stabilise a hallstand and 2 bookshelves: screw small metal brackets into each of the 3 pieces of timber furniture, and then screw the brackets into a concrete/brick wall. 3/ Screw a small plastic bracket (for a vacuum cleaner), into a concrete/brick wall. Basically, we just need you to drill a bunch of holes into concrete/brick walls, insert plugs, and then screw stuff to the walls – it’s not gonna take you very long if you know what you’re doing. We have all the required hardware but you’ll need your own drill, etc (ours isn’t powerful enough to drill through the bricks). We also need a couple of other handyman jobs done, and if things go well with these 3 tasks, we’ll ask you to return to do some more work another day. Thanks

Install three 2.4 x 2.4m shell heat shield crank operayed outdoor blind on my balcony.

Need helper to move 4 boxes, carry tools and hold screen for install. Need to have their white card and no tools needed. 5 hours max Easy work, not much manual labour and its under cover.

I need a rail installed to hold shelves. 4 holes drilled into the concrete block wall. Must have own tools.
