Details: The uPVC balcony door frame itself is fine, but the side multipoint locking mechanism (espag strip), handle set, and stripped screw area need to be replaced and reinforced. The photos attached show the exact same working door in our home for reference. The actual broken door has been disassembled by my husband—the side metal multipoint lock mechanism (espag strip) and handle set have been removed because the screw holes were stripped and the hardware was damaged. Scope of work: Supply and install a matching uPVC multipoint door lock mechanism & handle set. Reinforce the damaged/stripped screw holes on the frame side. Adjust the door hinges and align the mechanism so the door closes smoothly without friction. The door is currently kept closed for safety. Please check the attached photos for the lock type and door profile. Looking for an experienced uPVC door/window specialist.
