I would like to request a quotation for a small joinery job in my kitchen in NW2, London. I have a tall cabinet where the fridge is built in, and I’m replacing the fridge with a new one that is 20 cm taller. I would like to keep the overall kitchen height exactly the same, but shorten the cabinet above the fridge by 20 cm so that the new fridge fits properly. The job would include: • Removing the top cabinet door and cutting down the cabinet height by 20 cm; • Adjusting the internal shelf and back panel accordingly; • Cutting and refitting the same cabinet door to match the new height; • Refinishing the cut edges to match the existing wood veneer. We are looking for an indoor standalone display cabinet made from MDF/pine like in the attached two diagrams. This will be propped up against the office window on the inside. On top will rest a model for display. Underneath, the compartments will be displaying 3x 3D printers (hence the large dimensions). This cabinet should be on 6x heavy duty castor wheels so can be moved around (e.g. to allow for easy vacuum-cleaning underneath). Colour of the cabinet should be white. Looking for a carpenter/joiner who can make this quickly and at a good price. This is for a new property business on a tight budget, so please don't quote silly money - but rather with the expectation that, if successful, this will be the first of many orders.

Just had a Wren kitchen fitted and have some spare worktop/cupboard surfaces left over. Looking for someone to make a small kitchen table from one of the remaining pieces.

I have ordered a made-to-measure built-in wardrobe, that has already been constructed in the room it is to go in to (see Picture 4). I need an experienced carpenter / joiner to finish the job by doing the following: 1. Cut out the skirting boards behind the wardrobe, to get a tigher fit to the wall (leaving the skirting board underneath the desk) - Picture 1. 2. Cut out a hole in the back of the left-side unit, to provide access to the plug in the wall. 3. Fix the wardrobe units to the wall 4. Add fitting (provided - picture 3) around the edge of the wardrobe, for a clean, fitted finish. 5. Fit the bridging unit between the two wardrobe units at the top, fixing it to the wall and to the wardrobes - picture 1. Note: the bridging unit is heavy, so this is likely to be a two person job. I am happy to help with the lifting / holding. 6. Add the doors to the bridging unit. 7. Generally ensure a clean and tidy finish. Tools required: circular saw, sander Instructions are provided with the wardrobe, although were of limited use in building the wardrobe, so some improvisation may be needed.
