I am looking for an experienced handyman or carpenter to help finish off the wall and framing around a recently installed door. There are a few specific tasks required to make the area look seamless and finished on the inside. Tasks include: 1. Adjusting Metal Casing: There is a metal track/casing housing a garage door weight that sticks out too far. This needs to be shaved down or pushed in so it doesn't protrude. 2. MDF Extension: Once the casing is adjusted, I need MDF installed to extend the wall to the new door frame. This MDF needs to run all the way from the top down to the floor. 3. Adding Insulation: There is an exposed cavity at the top of the door frame that is missing insulation. Insulation needs to be inserted into this top gap. 4. Gap Filling: All remaining gaps along the top and the side between the new door frame and the wall need to be filled in completely. 5. Skirting Board Touch-up: The baseboard/skirting on the adjacent wall near the floor is messy. This small section needs to be replaced or sanded and painted to look clean. 6. Painting: After all the construction is complete, the new MDF extension and all patched/filled areas need to be primed and painted to match the existing wall color and finish seamlessly. Notes: - There are some exposed cables/wires that need to be safely tucked into the cavity behind the new MDF. - Offer should include all materials, labour to complete the job. I have attached detailed photos of the space to give a clear understanding of the job. Timeline: Ideally looking to get this done as soon as possible. As you can see in , the projector is mounted quite high, and the cable feeds up into the attic space through the manhole directly above it. ​The job is a straightforward swap. You will need to get up into the roof cavity, unplug the old power unit from the power point, and route the cable for the new power brick down to the projector. ​ You must bring a tall step ladder to safely reach and access the ceiling hatch. ​

I have a small water damaged plaster section of roof that needs to be cut out, removed, replaced and repaired. Area is only 2000mm x 500mm approximately. On a ground floor standard ~2400 room height etc. The water issues have all been cleared up, so this is the last bit of clean up. You can access on weekends also if need be. Quote needs to include removing waste and a clean up. We should be able to curtain off this area easy enough to minimise sanding dust. Quote excluding painting, but needs to be neat fully prepped for paint. Note the vent in pictures want need to go back in.

I have to have an AC in ceiling replaced. The man hole isn’t big enough so need player cutting open then once AC has been replaced like exisiting manhole cover put back and re plastered ready for painting. Need it cut out to in front of the light to wardrobe. Then I’ll get AC replaced and need it all put back again.
