Hi. I'm after advice and installation assistance, from a certified plumber I want to install a small garden watering irrigation system. But I'd like it to use my rain-tank water first, and then mains water when the tank is empty. I already have a water pump installed, which has a tank to mains switchover (Hyjet MHR20-370 Tank to Mains Switch Over). I think I need to run an extra tap from this pump. So I'd like advice on whether this is possible, and then your help installing the tap. (I'll do the irrigation system myself)

We have a sump pump in a small concrete cellar. It was put in before we moved in so I have no idea of the condition or how old it is. The two issues are: - the pump is shuddering - it's pumping water every few hours around the clock I'd like someone to assess where the water might be coming from (groundwater? leak? leak next door?), replace the pump if necessary with the quietest possible pump (I can buy a suitable pump), and look at the outlet to see if it's set up correctly. - Due date: Flexible

Hey there, we are wanting to assess the feasibility of relocating our bathroom (1900s Edwardian at rear of house) to where the second bedroom/lounge is and also moving kitchen. Would just need an hour of your time. Located in Thornbury. Floor plan and plumbing diagram attached. Rear of house is slab (bathroom/laundry).

Excess water from the hot water system runs down the down pipe each night/morning and how it is currently flowing makes a loud drip sound right next to the bedroom. I need someone with a long ladder (to reach approx 4-5 metres) and tools to help correct the water flow to stop the dripping. Should be an easy job! I can also get up the ladder myself, really just need access to the ladder and tools. - Due date: Flexible

Shower recess taps leaking when turned on. Shower recess taps are not sealed through the tile penetrations and need to be sealed to avoid water ingress into the wall cavity. Basin spout needs to be sealed at base to stop leakage. Flexible on time but sooner the better - thanks - Due date: Flexible
