I need someone to move these taps in the laundry to go below a new countertop. The two taps are to go into the washing machine. They can be moved lower, or moved into the unit below the sink, whichever option will allow the washing machine to be relatively close to the wall, so a countertop can go above it. The taps are in an external wall. The plumbing has already been done, it’s just about moving the location of the taps themselves. Will discuss options of where best to place taps. My Emerald heat pump hot water unit has been steadily leaking water from the bottom plumbing area for several days. Details of the issue: • The leak is coming from the lower pipework/fittings near the cold water inlet and the brass valve assembly (around the area labelled “WATER INLET/DRAINAGE”). • It’s a continuous drip (not a flood), wasting water. • I have attached a clear video showing the leak from multiple angles, including close-ups of the leaking area. What I’ve already done: • Turned off the blue-handled cold water inlet valve (the main supply to the tank). • Turned off the power to the unit at the isolator/breaker. • The leak has now stopped.
