Hi, My wife and I last year moved into our home in Northcote and wanted to get an inspection done of our existing plumbing and sewage lines. During our time here we have noticed smells emanating from our Laundry and Bathroom that travel through into the kitchen and living room. Our suspicion is that the either our sewage lines are passing gases back up through the traps and/or laundry outlet pipe or that because there is no visible exhaust vent for the plumbing system that the trap themselves arent working.
