Experienced plumber to unclog bath
$100
Marrickville NSW 2204, Australia
29th Nov 2025
Hello! Seeking an experienced plumber to inspect and unclog a bath drain that has been on and off giving me issues for years. Currently in its worst blockage ever - water no longer draining. Unsure if the issue is a blockage or what - we've been told the pipes are too small and that's the underlying issue but that doesn't explain why it's now worse than ever and not draining at all. Hopefully should be a quick unclog fix but would appreciate your advice on how to manage this issue. Flexible on timing - working from home on wed Thursday fri. Marrickville based, near the Vic.

We have a constant drip from our shower head and from the bottom of the mixer in the wall. We tried to DIY this fix but the new valve cartridge we bought (Kinetic 35mm Mixer Tap Flat Cartridge) made the leak worse. Conceding that we need a plumber’s help. Thanks
Reg figured out that the issue with our valve cartridge was incompatible pin sizes due to new universal standards, and he came back the next day with a solution. We got a satisfactory result!

Fix Mixer Tap Leak
$120
Marrickville NSW, Australia
4th Dec 2024
We have a loose nut on a hose pipe connected to a sink mixer tap that is not properly tightened, causing the pipe to leak. We were able to tighten it to slow down the leak but it's still leaking. There is limited access behind the sink due to some shelving which cannot be removed (see photos). We unsuccessfully attempted to fully tighten the nut with a basin wrench but found it difficult to tighten, probably due to our inexperience. We also tried to use an adjustable wrench but it was too long to get it into the right position to tighten the nut. We don't want to waste your time or our time so only bid if you’re a licensed plumber and you are confident you can fix it with minimal time and fuss.
Fantastic job - really quick, efficient, knowledgeable and punctual. Highly recommend!
