A bain marie needs to be installed. The old one needs to be removed. The new trolley has no base and I believe the expectation is to slot trays into sections which could form a base, however this unit is slightly smaller and our existing trays do not fit. An entire sheet metal may need to be welded to the base to create a platform. Fortunately, the unit itself has a bit of "give" so we could use some of our existing trays in it but it will be cosy. Another issue is that the water drainage pipe is very weirdly located if we could remove the fold out tray from the exiting unit and have it welded to the new unit that would mitigate the issue of someone poking themselves. However, the fold out platform will have to be permanent as it can't fold with the outlet pipe in the way (or maybe to just some degree but not fold flush). This platform is also important to lunch crews as it allows them to rest the plates on it during service. There is power already. If you want to come and look beforehand please let me know.

We had a dishwasher installed last week. It’s not draining water, bottom of dishwasher is flooding and not from a dirty filter. On the install, the guy said the pipes are holding water at the bottom bend (and the pipe the goes back upwards through the wall to outside) and also the pipe leaked quite a bit when he was working on the spiget. They may need to be rerouted to drain properly out (through a masonry wall). Looking for a qualified licenced plumber

I need gyprock installed to the lower third of an exposed brick wall to prepare the wall for installation of wainscotting. The section of wall to be covered is 270*90cm You will need to include all materials in the quote.

We've just removed an old, rusted letterbox from our front metal fence, but the two screws that were attaching it are still stuck in the fence, along with a small but sharp scrap of metal from the base of the letterbox. The screws are very old, and my attempts to get them out using a screwdriver have failed. I'm hoping someone with more tools and skills can remove the screws altogether – or, if that proves impossible, at least remove the scrap of metal left behind by the letterbox, as it's sharp and could cut somebody if left on the fence. My miele dishwasher requires a servicing and troubleshooting with the inlet/drain

Hi we are a time poor family and need some help getting through a list of odd jobs in the house for someone with some basic handyman credentials. Might be more of a day job with a trip to Bunnings so would be keen to just pay a day rate if so - if all can be done in a day This includes: - installing a curtain rod/rails above bedroom window - remove 4 x old curtains that we are replacing - fixing external locks on laundry and porch doors - they are unaligned/old and loose - advising on lock solution to unsecured windows - fixing 2 x loose door handles/latches - installing a hook/hanging painting - installing bars back into window (we removed when moving furniture)

Need to drill into masonry wall and then install ikea boaxel shelving. We have the screws and wall plugs. You should bring your masonry drill and spirit level or digital level. It would require drilling approx 29 holes into the masonry. The shelving is 2 metres tall and 1.2m wide.

Kitchen sink blocked all of a sudden

We are looking for a handyperson who can help us with a couple of odd jobs around our house to help make it a home. This would need to be a person with builder / electrical expertise for about 2-3 hours and includes the following tasks: 1. Putting up picture hooks (about 4) 2. Putting up Elfa shelving in the living room. It only requires one wall mount.

This is trickier than it sounds due to the material of the walls which seems to be some kind of hollow brick so neither the standard method for solid brick nor gyprock will do. The existing curtain rail needs to be lowered due to the installation of an air conditioner. There may be various other jobs we will offer as well (separate to this)

A blind has fallen down in the office. Need a ladder and ideally 2 people to replace.
