Seeking an experienced carpenter to shorten the length of an Ikea Flekke day bed from sofa size to armchair size. I have quoted an hourly rate as I'm unsure of the work required. I.e. - when extended it will only be a single bed size instead of queen/king as it's currently capable of. I have an area outside area available to work cutting etc. with power from my apartment. Need help to assemble two heavy metal cabinets in newly carpeted office. Can you please bring an electric / cordless drill with a Phillips head screwdriver, and your own tools eg Flat blade screwdriver, rubber mallet if you have one. Packaging says it’s snap together! I’ve got three large METOD IKEA cabinets that need to be assembled in my study. This is a custom IKEA cabinet that’s quite tall and heavy: they recommend two people (or one very strong person!) work on this. The cupboards need to be drilled into the wall (into both studs and plasterboard) and assembled. I’ve already assembled the drawers, but need the cupboards put together, drilled, screwed and attached. Drills and screws (from IKEA) provided (if needed). I’ve attached some photos of the space as well as the renders of the final product. All the instructions from IKEA are available too! Final product is about 1800mm wide and 2200mm high. Thanks!
