I have Telstra NBN fiber optic to home and need good wifi signals around home. Also have a rear studio detached. The NBN is running there also, I can’t be relying on a wifi signal there so need maybe another modem there?….

Hi there, I need pulling two pairs of network cables as two runs and pin them to underhouse with clips, I need it sooner rather than later. One run is a straight run along the same wall for about 5m, the other is a long run (might be somewhere between 15 to 20m L shaped run). I got all the materials, will need only the cables pulled from point to point, I will deal with the socket installations. Small access doors under the house, but easy doable by someone of average fit. Happy to go with alternative or better solution. Warning: part of the underhouse area is damp and has hanging insulation bats or parts/bits on the soil.

Hi, I need help finishing a home network setup at my house. The house is already wired with Cat6 LAN points. I have a rumpus/living area panel with 5 LAN ports, and I’ve identified that 4 of them connect to rooms in the house. There is also an NBN-labelled port, a garage LAN port, and a loose Cat6 cable near the old NBN/garage area that need to be identified and tested. Looking for someone experienced with data cabling/home networking to: * Identify and test the mystery Cat6 cable/garage/NBN link * Terminate loose Cat6 cable(s), likely T568A * Confirm which port goes where * Connect the incoming line to the rumpus distribution panel NBN FTTP is already active and working. I just need the internal LAN cabling finished properly so the room ports can be used. Should be a straightforward job for someone with the right tools/tester.

Need existing network cabling relocated in single-storey brick home. Currently have 6 network cables installed but they all terminate in an inconvenient location. Want these rerouted to the home office (existing network point location) to become the main termination point. Also need 2 additional Ethernet runs installed for ceiling/roof mounted Wi-Fi access points. I already have spare wall plates and jacks available from a previous install. I have 5 Tapo c200 cameras which were connected to wifi earlier. But company switched the internet to another provider and since then I am not able to connect cameras to wifi internet. Required someone to connect all cameras to wifi network and able to see in mobile app remotely.

I have a number of devices for my newborn which require certain network settings to operate. I’ve gotten some working (ie I’ve turned off band steering, moved to 2.4Ghz, amended SSID) - but it seems to have now caused issues with my printer and home (smart) doorbell. Ethernet cable repair It looks like when we first moved into this house the Telstra technician made changes to the wiring to make adsl connection work. However I no longer have adsl and I want my Ethernet connection again. Can this be patched up so that the Ethernet connection works again

I have Ethernet wall plates connecting different rooms in my house. One or more runs are not passing network connectivity (no DHCP / no link), while others work correctly. I need some who understands data network cabling to: Test existing Ethernet runs Identify faulty or incorrectly terminated cables Re-terminate wall plates and/or central termination as required Verify 1 Gbps connectivity with a proper cable tester This is fault finding and re-termination only, i do not think it will require recablling.

We have a couple of network ports in our reception that aren't connected to the network cabinet upstairs - others in the room are.
