It could be a quick job for someone who knows what they are doing, however, after spending time on the phone with support and not knowing what to do, I feel best to pass it on to someone else more tech inclined.

Need a tech to test the existing network ports in the office, patch them into the switch and tell us which devices are connected to each switch port. Set Up Wi-Fi Access Points Throughout 4-Storey House We have just moved into a 4-storey house and currently have the NBN/Wi-Fi router on the first floor. The Wi-Fi signal doesn’t reach the upper floors properly. The house appears to be smart-wired, with Ethernet/network ports throughout the house and in multiple rooms. My system (Win11) frequently disconnects or slows down when connecting to Internet over WiFi. I'm not sure if there is some DNS/network settings that needs to be changed for optimum speeds or any changes to WiFi router. Same WiFi works well connected via mobile.

We’re a small business looking for a a reliable local IT/network technician for an initial job, a larger network upgrade, and potentially ongoing IT support as required. 1) INITIAL JOB - UNIFI ACCESS POINT - Check our existing UniFi Access Point, does not seem have power despite power cycling Switch. Figure out what is happening and make it work. - I'm trying to install a 2nd Unifi Access Point (via a second switch, see photo). However, when I plug it in it causes PoE power on our Switch to cut out. When my home was built CAT5 cabling was installed. It runs to each room from a hub under the stairs. We've never used it. We find though that our Telstra modem (new), which broadcasts auto does not work well in some rooms. We have 2-3 Telstra boosters. They though don't help. Eager for someone to check and prep the LAN to allow it to work - no cabling needed. Just link it to the modem. Also to check the auto 2.4 and 5 broadcast or set up two bands.

Need someone who understands unifi home network. Previous owners left cameras, smart doorbell, wifi spots, and a unifi cloud key gen 2+ (and all cabling). I just need to know what (if anything) else to buy, and for it to all be set up. I have a router provided by my isp and a couple of cheap tp link switches if they are of any use.

Need help relocating my NBN modem/router to the garage in a 3-storey townhouse. The NBN box is upstairs and the house already has Ethernet wall sockets, including 3 upstairs and one in the downstairs office. I’d like someone experienced with home networking to work out the existing cabling and connect it so the modem/router can be moved to the garage, while keeping Ethernet available where possible. We don't want the modem on level 3 where all the bedrooms are, and to be sleeping next to EMF all night long. Ideally, the scenario is: - Move modem to the garage so WIFI is available throughout the house. - Allow for Ethernet where possible; plug the white cable into my PC so the speed is quicker. - or if you have a better idea then happy to hear it. - There is a wall socket in level 1 that we can get a super long cable so it can be wired to the modem in the garage, so if you can make it so it's not trip hazard then even better. Happy to buy any cables or equipment needed beforehand if you tell me what to get.

Must have Networking degree or certifications on enterprise grade LAN networks. The current router is Aruba with TPLink APs that are unable to add new users. The network is also connected to printers, VPN config etc. so DDNS config experience is must to ensure existing infra is not broken. We need to check why new users are unable to join the network and resolve the issue. You should have your own equipment to connect with router/ switch or modem.
