Kinda weird request but I’ve had a couple devices hacked and I think there’s malicious wifi and maybe Bluetooth devices around my house that corrupt my devices… I have no idea about any of this sort of stuff and was hoping someone would.

Netgear nighthawk RAXE500 modem router is the mai ln brains with an older nighthawk set as a WiFi extender on seperate network but with the same name. It was set up as per instructions using ai but I think it could be set up better for someone that is in the no how and familiar with nighthawks. Current connection is HFC DL speed 545Mbps running hard connections to routers with a splitter coming off main nighthawks RAXE500 if your reading this and think that’s an easy fix please get in touch 👍

We’ve just moved into a new office in Cremorne and need a electrician/data cabler to attend tomorrow (Friday 4 September) to get our network and Wi-Fi setup completed. The IT will be onsite at to guide whats required. We already have internet connected at the premises and our IT team will assist with any network configuration required. Need help fixing the position of the network points, please see photo, we want it leveled and aligned with the power point beside it. May need to patch the hole.

There are existing network cables coming from router and modem need to fix it and connect to the system after configuration.

Ideally a cat5 to be installed and connected between the main router and one of my rooms which is around 35~40 meters apart

Hi, We’re looking for an experienced IT/network specialist to come onsite to our studio in Burleigh Heads and check our network and storage is setup properly and running reliably. We’re primarily a Mac-based studio with 4 workstations. Our current setup includes: * Synology DS1621+ NAS with DX517 expansion * UniFi Dream Machine Pro and UniFi network hardware * 10GbE networking * MacBook Pro workstations * AWS NAS Backup, Dropbox cloud storage/sync, MEGA media library * Kyocera wifi printer + other wifi machines. We need someone who is particularly experienced with macOS, Synology and high-speed networking. The main priorities are getting the 10GbE network running properly across the studio, optimising NAS performance and file access, check cloud backup/sync, remote access/VPN, network security and generally review / clean up the existing setup. We need someone who is confident with business networking and can come onsite, assess the current setup and get everything working properly. $500 for a half day. No over scoping, just need to complete task as above. There is potential for ongoing support for the right person. Thanks

When my home was built CAT5 cabling was installed. It runs to each room from a hub under the stairs. We've never used it. We find though that our Telstra modem (new), which broadcasts auto does not work well in some rooms. We have 2-3 Telstra boosters. They though don't help. Eager for someone to check and prep the LAN to allow it to work - no cabling needed. Just link it to the modem. Also to check the auto 2.4 and 5 broadcast or set up two bands.

Need someone who understands unifi home network. Previous owners left cameras, smart doorbell, wifi spots, and a unifi cloud key gen 2+ (and all cabling). I just need to know what (if anything) else to buy, and for it to all be set up. I have a router provided by my isp and a couple of cheap tp link switches if they are of any use.

Must have Networking degree or certifications on enterprise grade LAN networks. The current router is Aruba with TPLink APs that are unable to add new users. The network is also connected to printers, VPN config etc. so DDNS config experience is must to ensure existing infra is not broken. We need to check why new users are unable to join the network and resolve the issue. You should have your own equipment to connect with router/ switch or modem.

We have NBN network, with a google nest mesh system. We have issues getting the printer connected, and want to be able to print, scan, etc from desktop computers to desktop computers. Brother MFC unit.

Setup ASUS ZenWiFi xd5 with home internet

Outlook only operates in safe mode, old emails are not fully synchronising, cannot add another account. Must be experienced with office outlook to resolve issue

Description: I have set up four Ethernet cables from my modem to a central distribution box to provide internet to different rooms. However, the LAN ports are not working, and the corresponding lights on the modem do not illuminate when connections are made. ​I need an experienced network technician or troubleshooter to come over, inspect the central patch panel/wiring, test the connections, and resolve the issue so all the LAN ports in the house become fully functional.
