I have NBN internet connected at my 2 storey townhouse. My office is located upstairs, while the wifi router is downstairs. I have a PC that I would like to use as my main computer, however the internet speeds are very slow compared to that which I get on my phone or laptop in the same location (office). I have a three level house with the top level having slow wifi and drop outs. Have a Orbi RBE771 mesh router system installed with Ethernet backhaul on all the satellites but still have speed issues and devices being very slow. Can bring machine to you if not too far. I dropped my circa 2015 Macbook and the screen failed. It does not look cracked. When I connect it to an HDMI screen the laptop's own screen often reappears for a while works and seems normal. Because of this I suspect a faulty connection. The computer has multiple crashes. Blue screens and black screens. I already went on a private shop to try and get it fixed, but the issue didn't go away and reappeared a week later. I recently purchased the deco ax3000 whole home mesh wifi system, set it up using the QR code and app but i am having issues with the main router that is connected to the nbn box dropping out frequently. Need someone who has plenty of experience with setting up wifi networks to find a solution. Please note nodes are maximum 3-4m apart and signal is only travelling through 1 wall at a time. Service plan is with tpg on unlimited superfast 750/50mbps, nbn connection is FTTP. Please note I have tryed power cycling and resetting both NBN and routers.

I am having a lot of trouble connecting my TP link modem router to my NBN connection. Looking for someone TODAY who knows NBN well, and can help figure out what is going on. Preferable if you can bring your own VDSL2 router as well to see if it’s my router. The router is connected via the DSL cable, and the sync light is on. I have confirmed this with Tangerine Telco and they said that the sync is all good on their side / that they can see the modem is connected. I am fairly techy and have tried alot of stuff from online forums but to no avail.
