Find a local network troubleshooter in South Moreton Bay

Hi there, I’m looking for an experienced IT/networking specialist to come out to my home in Eatons Hill (Brisbane) to inspect, tidy up, and properly set up our internal network. We have a central cabinet with multiple data points, patch panels, and devices, but it’s currently a bit of a mess and not functioning as it should. Internet is not reaching all rooms, and I need someone who knows exactly how to configure and optimise everything. What I need help with: • Inspect existing setup (patch panels, router, NBN connection, switches etc.) • Identify why internet is not active in all rooms • Properly patch and configure data points • Recommend and install (if needed) better setup (e.g. switch, mesh WiFi, access points) • Tidy and organise cabling for a clean, functional setup • Ensure strong and reliable WiFi coverage throughout the house Current setup: • NBN connected (TP-Link router currently in use) • Multiple Ethernet/data points throughout house • Central network cabinet (see photo attached) • Appears to have patch panels and splitter installed Looking for someone who: • Has solid experience with home networking / data cabling • Understands NBN setups, patching, switches, and WiFi optimisation • Can troubleshoot and provide a practical, cost-effective solution • Can supply hardware if required (or advise what to purchase) Timing: Flexible – sooner the better Budget: Open to quotes depending on scope

Attend site to switch over existing networking gear (new Meraki security device and access points). Switch over internet connection at NTD. Ensure staff are connected to new network connection correctly. Update HP printers to new IP address (supplied). Merakis are setup by our IT team in the UK. Property has two separate internet connections. If for some reason, connection does not work, will refer to UK team and request follow up support to be negotiated with person assisting with this job. Expect overall job to take 2-4 hours max (assuming works smoothly).

Need assistance with setting up a bridge connection between the old modem and brand new router. Tried chat GPT but did not succeed.

I expanded my home network and installed a range extender downstairs. The modem router is located upstairs..I I need someone who has a good knowledge of setting up a range extender and resolving connectivity issues with a Sony PS5 located downstairs right next to the extender. My modem upstairs is a TP Link AX6000 and the range extender downstairs is a TP Link is an AXE5400 and the NBN speed upstairs is 200mbs. My daughter cannot use her PS5 due to slow to no speed at all.

We have lost the network Connection to our CCTV and unsure how to fix it. We can still see main CCTV on site but have no remote access any longer. Need to fix ASAP

My computer internet signal is extremely slow (1 bar). I work from home, I need it to be faster and to stop dropping out. My router is upstairs, I'm using mesh downstairs. Could it be my household network, do I need a faster more powerful router, is it my laptop settings, is my laptop faulty? We have a functioning CCTV already setup in our sushi shop. We need assistance setting up a network connection for the internet and installing the hard drive for the DVR as we have used all of our network ports so far, maybe as simple as installing an adaptor? into an existing port? We also require another network connection for our back of house monitor to be plugged into so it can run. We also require some electrical work for someone who can install spotlights above our main shop signage to maximise evening lighting on signage. - Due date: Flexible
