There is a wifi extender at our warehouse in Granville. This extender is used so that the printer kept on first floor can connect with the wifi device olaced at the ground floor at our warehouse.

We are looking for an experienced IT technician or network specialist to attend our property in Auburn to investigate and permanently resolve a recurring Wi-Fi connectivity issue. A previous technician attended the property and identified that the issue was not with the modem or router. Instead, the Ethernet wall data port is loose inside the wall cavity. When the Ethernet cable is unplugged or moves, the connector falls back into the wall, making it difficult to reconnect. The previous technician temporarily restored the internet by reconnecting the cable, but the internet has since stopped working again. We are now looking for someone who can provide a more permanent solution. Scope of Work: Inspect the existing modem, router and network setup. Diagnose and restore the internet connection. Inspect the loose Ethernet wall outlet/data port. If possible, securely fix or remount the wall data port so it is properly secured and does not fall back into the wall. Test both the internet connection and Wi-Fi before leaving to ensure everything is working correctly. Please let us know in your offer whether you are able to repair or secure the wall data port as part of this job. If the repair requires a licensed cabler or electrician, please advise us on-site. Important: The modem/router powers on normally. This appears to be related to the wall Ethernet/data port rather than the modem itself. Photos of the loose wall outlet are attached for reference.

I’m currently running 6x COVR ac-1200 nodes (mesh network) in bridge mode to a Telstra router - NBN FTTP-I have 10+ devices connected to it at any one time. The house is two stores. I used to have a Optus router and had no issue but after I changed provider I’m getting a lot of wifi drop outs and issues connecting to the nodes. We have a local network inside a rack which offers a wired network to each machine as well as connecting our security cameras as well as Wifi. We have also had a small local server which runs windows 2003, that we had connected to our local network in our previous office and mainly used for storage / file sharing. However in the new office set up, we have been unable to connect and find this server on the local network. We also have a local Kyocera printer / scanner. The printer seems to show up to send files from the machine to printer but the scanner is not able to find the machine to email the scanned files What we need done: We require you to connect and find the Win 2003 server on our local machines and establish an admin account so we are able to manage the file sharing We require you to establish a centralized, secure and easily accessible file sharing on Microsoft 365 OneDrive (we have the business level licenses) that we could easily share and manage files and administer. We also need to connect and find our local scanner on our local area network. You need to know windows servers and windows networking, in particular through a small office rack really well. You need to know Onedrive business premium file sharing very well. We need this done in our office in Parramatta CBD.
