I had to stop as I hit steel and didn’t have the appropriate hand drill for it. The wall is made up of wood on the lower half and steel on the upper half. To ensure a secure installation, nylon expansion plugs should be used. The clothesline measures 2.2m x 0.68m and will be installed on the plain wall as shown. I’ll be on-site to indicate the exact installation location. I’ll be on-site to assist if any help is needed. I am chasing a glazier who wants some weekend or afternoon cash job. We have been fighting with the insurance in regards to the 2023 Tornado that hit Helensvale with NO luck. I have a number of windows that need the rubber replaced after the strong winds. The rubber is deteriorated in a number of windows (8-10) and the insurance is not covering it due to the wear and tear. I would need someone to come out and quote a cash job.
