Attend site to switch over existing networking gear (new Meraki security device and access points). Switch over internet connection at NTD. Ensure staff are connected to new network connection correctly. Update HP printers to new IP address (supplied). Merakis are setup by our IT team in the UK. You will need to also load Subnet Mast, Gateway and DNS1/2 when on site. Property has two separate internet connections. If for some reason, connection does not work, will refer to UK team and request follow up support to be negotiated with person assisting with this job. Expect overall job to take 2-4 hours max (assuming works smoothly).

I’ve recently upgraded my home network equipment and need an experienced IT/network technician to configure everything properly. The system was previously working fine on an old modem/router installed by electricians. I have now replaced this with a new router (TP-Link Omada ER605) and added a 16-port switch, but I cannot get everything working correctly. I have a Telstra Gen 4 modem/router plus two wall-mounted WiFi booster discs at separate locations in my home. Currently each unit broadcasts under a different network name, meaning devices don’t automatically hand off — you have to manually switch WiFi logins as you move around. I need someone to reconfigure the setup so all three units broadcast the same SSID and password, creating a single seamless network. When I walk from room to room, my devices should connect automatically without any manual switching. The work involves: • Accessing the Telstra modem/router admin settings • Reconfiguring the booster discs to operate in access point mode (or enabling roaming/mesh mode if supported) • Testing that devices roam seamlessly between zones Must be comfortable with Telstra home network equipment. Happy to be present throughout. The goal is one WiFi name, one password, whole home covered. Just to be clear job must be performed on April 24 and no other day. The house is a weekender and I am not able to send pics but I believe the extenders are Ubiquiti boosters that were circa 2020 / 2021 models. This is a reprogramming task that an experienced tech should be able to handle without pics and I don't anticipate it taking more than an hour. There are 2 remote extenders which are on separate logins to the modem. I just need a single login. A Somfy guy who worked on some blinds said it was a simple reprogram which he was going to do but ran out of time.

I would like some help with setting up my home network. I am trying to get MoCA working which is proving difficult in my new rental apartment. Happy to walk you through the requirements over the phone prior to arrival so you can be prepared ahead of time There is also old telephone ports throughout the home, is it possible to use this instead of MoCA if not wired appropriately?

The internet company is Superloop. NBN has already sent someone to install the network box, but it's still not working. I've tried calling Superloop but no one answers. I'd like to find someone to help me fix this.

Ethernet cable repair It looks like when we first moved into this house the Telstra technician made changes to the wiring to make adsl connection work. However I no longer have adsl and I want my Ethernet connection again. Can this be patched up so that the Ethernet connection works again

I have Ethernet wall plates connecting different rooms in my house. One or more runs are not passing network connectivity (no DHCP / no link), while others work correctly. I need some who understands data network cabling to: Test existing Ethernet runs Identify faulty or incorrectly terminated cables Re-terminate wall plates and/or central termination as required Verify 1 Gbps connectivity with a proper cable tester This is fault finding and re-termination only, i do not think it will require recablling.

We have a couple of network ports in our reception that aren't connected to the network cabinet upstairs - others in the room are. Need someone who can help identify which ports and connect in network cabinet. The ones that are connected have been labelled, hoping we can plug a few extras in and test

Need to run a cable from my building NBN to my apartment. Currently does not have NBN wired through the unit. There is NBN cable right at the entry of the unit.
