I need to securely install a wooden support beam across two opposing masonry walls in my laundry. I already have the beam cut to size, angle brackets, masonry screws, and washers. Job is to drill into the masonry walls, fix the brackets, and fit the beam securely in place. Walls are solid brick/masonry (above a doorway). Please bring your own hammer drill with masonry bits and the tools needed for the install. Free parking outside of the house

I somewhat stupidly decided that anchor plugs in gyprock would be strong enough for a mounted TV arm, forgetting about the power of leverage with the arm extended. As a result I need the damaged gyprock repaired / patched (dont worry about painting) Also I need the tv mount/arm reinstalled - there is a gap in the studs where it needs to be installed, might need a piece of wood screwed in to bridge the gap.
