Dig the trench: through a few inches of scalpings and then earth. Follow safe digging guidelines to safely avoid existing electrical cable, gas pipe and water pipe. 4. Instal a cable duct (provided by UK Power Networks) with a pull chord; cover the duct with pea gravel; instal a plastic warning strip provided by UKPN. 5. Refill the trench leaving access holes at both ends for cable installation by UKPN. 6. Replace the top gravel. 7. Remove excess diggings from site and leave it neat and tidy.

I recently purchased a ProBreeze 14,000 BTU portable air conditioner, and I’m experiencing a fault right out of the box. Upon setting it up according to the user guide, the unit immediately displays an “EF” error code* on the screen. I have followed all troubleshooting steps, including: Ensuring the unit is level and vented properly Verifying that both drain plugs are secured Attempting a soft reset by unplugging for 15 minutes Trying various mode settings (Cool, Fan, etc.) Despite this, the EF error persists*, and there is no water in the tank to drain. I believe this may be due to a faulty evaporator temperature sensor or an internal defect.

I'm working with a small budget, but I've managed to drill the holes myself, but struggling to daisy chain the cables, and get things wired up correctly. Hallway, 4 x downlights, Bathroom x 5 and bedroom x 5, 14 in total, but all prepped and read to wire. Certified/qualified electricians only, as I live in a flat, so certification is required.
