I need fixing of my Black and Decker BXAC40008GB Air conditioning unit. Is working fine then suddenly no longer switching on. It's still in good condition as it's only used for about 2 months each summer for the last 5 years.

Install a portable air conditioner window seal kit on an outward-opening casement window. The old adhesive tape must be removed completely, along with any glue or sticky residue and the window frame cleaned and prepared before fitting the new seal. Please do not use the adhesive tape supplied with the kit, as I have my own stronger double-sided tape that I would like to be used instead. My logic portable air conditioning unit is expelling hot air and the element is cooling when you open the grill you can see it but it's not bringing cold air into the room

Potable ac not blowing cols air

I have a GoodHome Takoma 4500 BTU portable air conditioner that has developed a fan issue. The unit powers on but the fan motor has stopped blowing air out entirely (even in "Fan Only" mode). After running through basic troubleshooting and clearing the filter, I suspect it needs a new fan start capacitor or fan motor. Could you let me know if this is something you can inspect and repair, and what your diagnostic/repair fees look like?

The unit is not cooling. It is a Daikin Altherma air-sourced low temperature heat pump system. It is not a monobloc unit but a refrigerant split system with a hydrobox installed inside the flat. It needs servicing / fixing. Engineer will need to have knowledge in refrigeration, electronics, plumbing, and heat pump systems in order to properly diagnose and work on the equipment.

Labour and materials only. Single split install in first floor 13m2 bedroom. Outdoor unit on ground level on same wall if space allows.

My portable AC stopped working

Our DAIKIN hvac unit on the shopfloor (cassette) has stopped working, and the panel is flashing up C9, which we believe to mean there's an issue with the sensor. We tried powering off from the mains fuse, waiting and powering back on - after that it is still flashing C9, doesn't feel like it's fully pumping air out though, but definitely is pumping some air out now.. Needs a specialist who can check if the sensor's an issue and advise.

It shuts off after 30 mins then demands to be emptied. I empty the tank, start it again then it does it again. I've cleaned the filter, the insides etc. It worked for 4 hours after that but now back to 30 mins then empty. Ok so after a lot of trying I think I need a new float sensor fitted. I will happily pay someone to do this!

Arlec air con not blowing cold air but was until I bought it downstairs from upstairs so could I have knocked the gas or compressor? Will pay and drive to you if you can fix ? You commented on someone else’s air con problem so hoping you may be able to help? Desperate as mine and my daughter’s house is too hot we are struggling so much.
