I am looking for a quote to cut my own blackout blind fabric and bottom bar down to size. It is one sheet of signature blackout material that is 192cm width and 230cm drop, the drop needs to remain the same but the material needs to be cut down slightly on width to 188cm exactly to fit my existing cassette mechanism and tube. The bottom bar also needs to be cut down to fit inside the smaller fabric width.

I need a blackout roller blind fitted for a sash window in Leytonstone, E11. The blind is a Bloc Blinds BlocOut Touch and it's already here, made to measure for the recess at about 85cm wide by 157cm drop. The job is: 1 - Take down the old IKEA blind that's currently in the recess, and fill or tidy the old screw holes. 2 - Fit the new blind's brackets into the top of the recess, level, following Bloc's instructions. 3 - Check it rolls up and down smoothly and sits right. Please bring your own drill, bits, wall plugs, spirit level and filler. Have a small step but not a short ladder, so may need one. The window has brass fittings, so please take care around them. We need roller blinds to be hung on 4 windows in our studio - the blinds also need to be cut to size.

One of the chords has become a little bit tough to pull and that has resulted in it becoming unsecured on one side at the top of the blind. Blind needs securing at the top and lubricating.

We already have the roman blind which was fitted but its fittings are beginning to come off. See the photo whiich shows the wooden batten that needs to be fixed firmly on the dormer window.
