I have bought some replacement black out blinds from BlindsDirect and have finally got the correct size but I'd like someone with experience with installing them to put them up as I've already got too many badly drilled holes from incorrect ones before. Some wood filler might be useful. Job should take under an hour. Screwdriver should be only other tool required.

A roman blind with an old cord pull mechanism needs repairing, the metal hook in photo one looks like it has come out of the heading so it nolonger draws up properly at one side as not pulling on all of the strings. The second roman blind shown from the front just needs re-adjusting some how as the pleats are not hanging straight.

Hello. I had an airbnb guest and they pulled too hard on the blind such that the cords got disconnected. I have the Renaissance Cassette Roman Blind System. I have now take the mechanism off the wall and remove the blind from the velcro strip on the mechanism. The cords look like they are stuck inside the mechanism. And the little plastic parts that go on the back of the blind to attach the string have 'popped' off. I attach some photos.

I have 2 sets of blinds which need fixing either before 3:30pm today or before midday tomorrow. One is a slatted blind with a slat that needs replacing (I have the replacement- from another set of blinds) and the other is a roller blind which sticks and the cord has come off. The latter doesn’t need to be fixed to perfection, it just needs to work until I can replace it.
Perfect, responded quickly, came at short notice and everything sorted.
