The roller blinds on my top french window (double height ceiling around 22 ft) have got stuck. The blinds are operated by a chain. Currently, pulling the chain does NOT open/ lift up the blinds as it used to . Could be a problem with the mechanism. please NOTE that I do NOT have access to a ladder at my premises.

I have two blinds and the fittings have broken. One is just the antique brass beaded pull has snapped, the other the end where the beaded pull attaches has broken. It does not attach properly to the spindle and falls out. A friend suggested I am probably best off replacing both fittings
