Outdoor Planter Box Rebuild – Demo, Waterproof & Retile I have a covered outdoor alfresco area with a long rendered/stacked stone garden wall with built-in planter box cutouts along the top. The sides of the wall are solid and in great condition. The issue is the internal structure of the planter boxes — the timber framing underneath is rotting out and the bluestone tiles on top are lifting/shifting as a result. Work required: Demo and remove all rotted timber framing from inside the planter box openings Rebuild the internal planter box frames using steel or masonry (no timber) Apply waterproofing membrane to all internal planter surfaces Re-lay bluestone tiles to match existing (grey/blue tone, approx 600x600) Grout and seal all tiling Clean up and remove all waste What's staying: The stacked stone wall sides are NOT to be touched. I’ve already installed over half the subfloor insulation in my home (134m2) and need someone to complete the job (approx 65m2). The product is a recycled polyester batt (soft, no itch, no PPE needed) that simply tucks up between the joists and staples into the timber, very straightforward once you’ve done a few. The work involves: • Cutting rolls to length (width is pre-sized, length cuts only) • Tucking batts snugly up under the floorboards • Stapling into timber joists to secure Important: There is fragile ducted heating pipework under the house. You’ll need to work carefully around this and not rush. This is the main requirement, someone methodical who won’t damage the ducting. It’s not difficult but it is a little tedious and dirty under there. There’s a leak in my roof that needs to be repaired.

When it rains, water pools in one corner of my gutter and overflows like a fountain. The gutters are clear of debris but I believe they are on a very slight slant leading rain to build up in this corner and rush over the edge. I need someone to replace the piece of rotting wood underneath this corner of the gutter (see images) and install a downpipe so that water can effectively drain from this area in the future.
