I’ve already installed over half the subfloor insulation in my home (134m2) and need someone to complete the job (approx 65m2). The product is a recycled polyester batt (soft, no itch, no PPE needed) that simply tucks up between the joists and staples into the timber, very straightforward once you’ve done a few. The work involves: • Cutting rolls to length (width is pre-sized, length cuts only) • Tucking batts snugly up under the floorboards • Stapling into timber joists to secure Important: There is fragile ducted heating pipework under the house. You’ll need to work carefully around this and not rush. This is the main requirement, someone methodical who won’t damage the ducting. It’s not difficult but it is a little tedious and dirty under there. All equipment is provided: • Knee pads • 2 x staple guns • Head torch • Scissors/blade for • Protective eyewear and mask (for dust) •I used a bike helmet to protect my head which you are welcome to use but if you have a hard hat that would be better. The size house is a five bedroom and rumpus room single storey. A pest control tradesman has already went to the property and found no deceased rodent at the time of inspection. Full removal and replacement of existing insulation — The current insulation is contaminated due to rodent activity (rat faeces and urine) and requires removal and replacement. Please also advise if rodent baiting can be carried out as part of the scope of works, or whether this needs to be arranged separately.

I have some insulation batts 2-3, they need to be installed under the house, staple gun provided, all equipment and insulation provided. Suit someone who can work in under house space and have some flexibility. Installing insulation batts require fixing it to underfloor slab then using a tape to hold in place with staple. Looking for someone experienced to install insulation under the floorboards of our home. There is good access and plenty of room under most of the house to complete the installation. One section does require climbing underneath, however access is still manageable. We are looking for someone reliable who has experience with underfloor insulation and can supply and/or install suitable insulation products. I would like underfloor insulation installed on a house I have just moved into. I will purchase the polyester underfloor insulation and galvanised staples, but you would need to bring an electric stapler, a tarp to keep the insulation clean while installing it and any clothing and protective equipment you might need. I have attached images of the underfloor as well as of the floor plan. The house is approximately 125m2.
