Hello there, Looking for an experienced handyman or gutter cleaner to clean out our gutters at our home in Bulleen, with the option to install some gutter guards if you can offer a great bundle price. Property, Access & Equipment Details: Access: Very straightforward. The front of the house is a standard, low single-storey. You can easily access the roof from the front and safely walk across to the back sections. Layout: The house is on a sloped block, so while the back looks higher from the ground, no extra high-access equipment is needed because the entire roof is accessed from the single-storey front. Equipment Provided: I have a big ladder on site that you are welcome to use, so you do not need to transport a large ladder here. The Job Involves:Full Gutter Clean: Clear all leaves and debris from the entire guttering system. Green waste can go straight into our green council bin on site. Inspection of the existing timber gutter supports and repair or replacement of any damaged sections as required. Supply and installation of approximately five (5) metres of custom-made tapered Zincalume box gutter. Supply and installation of a custom-made sump and overflow. Supply and installation of soaker flashing. Supply and installation of capping to the front parapet wall. Supply and installation of one (1) 90 mm PVC downpipe. Seal the existing valley iron to the new box gutter to ensure a watertight connection.

I have a Samsung ducted air conditioning system, and the outdoor unit is located on the roof, which I can’t access safely. I’m not looking for any repairs. Double storey townhouse. Roof leak heard loudest from top floor. However evidence of water only through lower floor conjoining wall. ?leak gone down behind plaster wall. Previous roofers have tried sealing various possible leak points. I have just seen this ridge capping corner where the sarking is exposed (circled in photos). Should it be as such? Could it be a leak point of entry? Can anything be done about it? Thank you.

It hasn't been done in 5yrs+, but I'm concerned about ensuring the downpipes are actually flushed and that we don't end up with cracked tiles. How do you usually handle the downpipe testing to ensure they're clear all the way to the storm-water?

Mould issue on the bottom floor of 3 story townhouse. The bottom floor is build into a hill (masonry blocks facing soil, then plasterboard which has become mouldy. Attached some pics of impacted rooms, and the front/side of the house: 1. The rear walls can’t be accessed from outside. It’s facing into the hill and top floors extend further back. 2. The side wall is partially into hill of driveway. 3. The rear wall plaster appears to be immediately in front of cement bricks, the side walls I assume there’s a wooden frame there but haven’t looked behind the plaster Need someone that has experience with similar situations. I think we need: 1. Remove plaster 2. Apply layers of waterproofing bitumen 3. Apply layer of breathable render and paint, or replace plaster
