Where tiles are cracked or have slipped from their intended position, there is an increased likelihood of further displacement during wind events. Progressive movement may create direct openings for water penetration, which can lead to moisture ingress into the roof space, insulation and ceiling linings over time. Recommendation: Realign slipped tiles, replace cracked units and check surrounding roof sections for adequate fixing and security."

Given the front porch post sinks slightly, this could indicate uneven settling or damaged concrete. Since this roof was constructed by previous owner and I suppose it's a dodgy one, I would like to demolish and replace the entire porch. I am open to receiving any quote for the replacement. I've got a pergola with the colorbond roof. We intend to enclose the pergola and make it into an internal sort of hobby room. The current roof of a pitched one and we intend to frame it like a pitched cathedral ceiling. I've realized that there is no vapour barrier under the existing roof, and have found that the cost to retrofit after taking the current roof off is too much for my budget. So, I'm looking for a proactive option which will prevent the problem of condensation that the vapour barrier deals with in general. Whirlybird / condensation resisting paint / any other option ?
