Previous soap holder has snapped off when I moved into this apartment. I was advised that supplier who makes that particular model no longer exists. Need to remove old one and supply & install a new similar soap holder. Photos attached showing broken one and another one which is in the other bathroom. Any questions, please let me know.

I need to install an art rail in our lounge. The wall is solid concrete so it needs a SDS+ hammer and drill. I need 5 holes of 40mm depth and 6mm diameter. They are already marked. I just don't have the right tools to do it.

Handyman – Apartment Move & Setup for 1 bedroom apartment. I’m looking for an experienced painter/handyman to complete the finishing work in my kitchen following some renovation works. We have a couple of places where paint and foundation has been removed and you can see concrete wall. See photos. We need the wall to look normal again. So it needs to be levelled, sanded and painted white.

Patch needs tidied up, I have the paint but need confirmed if it’s correct match as I don’t think it is (Bunnings said it was but looks wrong). This wouldn’t be a long job - but need done before an inspection tomorrow at 10am

I have a painting that needs to be hung on the wall and a small floating shelf to be installed. The wall is gyprock and I think concrete might be behind the gyprock so a hammer drill and wall plugs could be required however I’m not 100% sure. It’s a small job that should take 60 minutes or less.

I’m looking for an experienced handyman or carpenter to repair a cracked wall / trim at the staircase landing area (see photos attached). Issue details: • The crack is located at the corner of the staircase, where the metal handrail meets the wall/trim. • The damage appears to be caused by long-term pressure/movement from the handrail against the wall trim. • This is not a structural issue, but the trim has separated and needs proper repair before selling the property. Scope of work expected: • Inspect the cracked trim / wall section • Remove damaged trim or plasterboard as needed (small section only) • Reinforce behind the trim if required (e.g. timber noggin / fixing point), so the handrail is solid and stable, with no movement during normal use, and does not cause the wall/trim to crack again • Reinstall / replace trim or plasterboard • Patch, sand, and repaint to a neat, sale-ready finish Important: • I’m not looking for a cosmetic-only fix (e.g. silicone or quick filler). • The underlying cause needs to be addressed so the crack does not reappear.
