I need to add a small section of polished concrete floor to match existing. We are removing the fireplace and plinth in the photos attached. There is a section of floor underneath the plinth that is missing. The floor is a concrete screed over joists, on the first floor of a warehouse in Richmond. The section required is approx 3300mm x 1100mm x 40mm and is edged with steel strips. The surface is polished and looks like it has a varnished finish. The old fireplace is being removed on Monday 29 September. The work could be commenced on Mon 29 afternoon or Tue 30.

Hey team, Need a professional flooring company to aid me in ripping up carpet in a newly purchased house and polish the hardwood floorboards beneath. There is also some sort of vinyl in the back half of the house which I’d like to do the same for. Beyond the kitchen I plan to tile and make this a laundry / bathroom so nothing needs to be done there. I know it would be hard to quote without seeing the property in person, settlement date is on the 13th of December so post that can walk people through. Just looking for some indicative offers / quotes at the moment based on pictures. I’ve had a nice cheap quote for floating floors at $2000-$2500, but would much prefer to bring the old home to life.
