Hi, We have purchased an apartment. Currently the bedrooms (2) and living room have carpet, glued to a concrete slab. We are looking for quotes from someone experienced to install cork flooring. We would need to see previous work - or see reviews/references. The job includes removal of the old carpet, sanding of the slab and installing the new cork tiles. Howdy. I need someone experienced to lay a floating floor. Area is 7 x 5.4 metres. I have the the 5.5mm hybrid boards already purchased. The room won't be completely vacant. We thought we could shove all the furniture (that we cant put elsewhere cos it's too big) into one half of the room, lay half the floor then when it's done, move the furniture to the other side of the room and lay the second half. Small kitchen space - need floating floor, lock and click laminate installed. Room space is 209cm by 313cm. Cabinetry getting installed on Thursday so needs to be done Wednesday 1st October. There’s a concrete underlay with vinyl on top. I’m happy for the new floors to be laid on top of vinyl. Given there’s cabinetry coming in an L shape over the top, happy also if the flooring doesn’t cover the kitchen entirely underneath where these will go. One wall had skirting boards removed - I will replace these after the kitchen is in. One wall still has skirting in place. Have trimming to add or you can cut underneath. Under the door it connects with carpet, will need a join. Carpet is new, this needs to be done carefully. - Due date: Needs to be done on Wednesday, 1 November 2023

A small area of floorboards were damaged in our home when corrosive cleaning liquid dripped from our oven onto the floorboards below.
