We are looking for someone with basic IT/networking knowledge to attend a site in Wagga Wagga and help restore the network connection. The site is using a UniFi Gateway, network switch and multiple UniFi Access Points (APs). The main tasks will include: Restart/reboot the UniFi Gateway Make sure the Gateway is correctly connected between the modem and the network switch Check and reconnect network cables as required Restore the Gateway/network configuration if necessary Make sure the UniFi Gateway can detect the network switch again Make sure all UniFi Access Points are detected and come back online Confirm that the internet and Wi-Fi are working normally after the work is completed There may be some cabling work required, so please bring basic network tools and spare Ethernet/Cat6 cables if available. Someone with experience in UniFi/Ubiquiti, routers, switches, Wi-Fi networks or general IT support would be preferred.

Need a registered telecommunications/data cabler to diagnose and repair an NBN FTTN connection at an apartment in Waitara. The apartment previously had the NBN/phone point in the kitchen. During renovation, an electrician relocated the point to a linen cupboard where the modem/router is now located. SpinTel has confirmed the NBN service is active but is reporting an impairment on the line. The modem is currently not getting a connection. Need someone to: * Test the incoming FTTN copper line * Check the relocated wall socket and terminations * Confirm the correct pair has been connected * Check for any redundant wiring, bridge taps or poor connections * Test from the apartment/MDF if required * Repair or re-terminate the cabling if the fault is internal * Confirm the modem is receiving a proper VDSL signal before leaving Ideally looking to have this completed as soon as possible.

Gaming PC currently running Bazzite that's installed on a 500gb NVME. Need Win 11 installed on my 1tb SSD that's already installed in the PC so I can duel boot between Bazzite and Win 11. I don't have access to a Windows computer and was not able to make an official Win 11 installer USB. I have tried installing Windows using Ventoy with win 11 iso and have had no luck I have included a couple of screenshots. Looking for someone experienced with data cabling to install a new Cat6 Ethernet run. There is currently a coaxial/TV cable running to the location where I want the Ethernet point. Ideally, I'd like to use the existing coax route/pathway to run the new Cat6 cable if possible. Or have both the Coax cable and Cat 6 alongside it.
