I need a licensed data cabler to install a RJ45 wall plate upstairs, and run a single ethernet cable from my upstairs room to the ground floor, and install another RJ45 wall outlet (data point) near the skirting board downstairs. Job details: • Cable starts from upstairs bedroom/wardrobe area where my router is located • Cable needs to run through the floor cavity/wall cavity down to the room directly below (living room or kitchen area) • Install two RJ45 wall plates – one upstairs inside/near the wardrobe for the router connection, and one downstairs near the skirting board as the endpoint. • Cable must be concealed – no exposed cabling through ceiling or open areas • Two-storey timber frame townhouse

Hi everyone, I'm looking for an electrician or technician who specialises in internet/NBN connection issues. I'm with Optus, and my internet keeps dropping out multiple times throughout the day. I contacted Optus, and they said the modem was faulty, so I replaced it with a brand new one. I also replaced the Ethernet cable between the NBN box and the modem. Unfortunately, the problem is still happening. The NBN box always shows all the lights on, but modem only has the power light on, while the other lights are either off or flashing inconsistently. I'm not sure what's causing the issue anymore. I'm looking for someone who has experience diagnosing and fixing this kind of problem. If you can help or know someone who can, please let me know. I could use the help of a computer expert. I recently I purchased a new laptop, and 2 x monitors. I wanted a set up where I could remove the laptop and take it with me if need be, but otherwise plug in and use with the 2 x monitors for my work. We had someone come out and hook it all up, and it worked for about 5 minutes, now the monitors wont work with the laptop lid closed, the printer wont print, and the whole thing is driving me insane. I've purchased 2 x docking stations to try and get this right, but nothing has changed at all. I really need to work, and this has been a massive inconvenience, not to mention a costly exercise. I dont want anymore drama. I could really use the help of someone that sees this sort of stuff all the time, and could genuinely help me out.
