Title: Windows laptop security check / Norton alerts / possible remote access review Description: I need an experienced IT security technician to inspect my Windows HP laptop in person. Norton Security History has shown repeated high alerts, including: - “Remote Access Protection disabled” - “Intrusion Signatures disabled” - “Wi-Fi vulnerabilities detected” - earlier PowerShell-related detections The laptop was previously set up under someone else’s Norton subscription, and I want an independent check before making any changes. I need someone who can check: - Norton settings and logs - whether any remote-access software is installed or active - Windows Remote Desktop / remote assistance settings - unknown administrator accounts - startup apps and scheduled tasks - PowerShell history / suspicious activity - browser extensions - Wi-Fi/router security basics - whether Norton is malfunctioning, misconfigured, or being disabled by conflict/software Important: Please do not wipe, reset, reinstall Windows, delete logs, or clear Norton history. I need the laptop inspected first. I would also like a short written summary of what you checked and what you found, even if nothing suspicious is found. Location: Doncaster East / Doncaster area. Prefer in-person inspection. Please apply only if you have experience with Windows security, malware checks, remote-access tools, and basic incident review.
