I am reposting this job as I am seeking three quotes from qualified carpenters to replace the four verandah posts on our Victorian house (I have one quote already lined up, but it seems that Airtasker won’t let me communicate with multiple people at once, so here is a request for a second quote). The posts will need to be replaced with heritage-appropriate decorative timber posts. Some of the horizontal bars may need to be replaced at the same time. We will have the (possible) asbestos eaves removed prior to the job commencing I have listed the price at $10 because the system wouldn't let me put $0 and I'm not sure what this will cost but am obviously willing to pay a fair price.

I need someone to repair damaged areas of plaster and install cement sheets in shower areas as a part of a bathroom renovation. I will be doing DIY demo of tiling, and need someone to assist with repairing areas of damaged plaster following this and ensuring the shower wall is prepped prior to waterproofing, likely involving installation of cement sheeting.

The house is made of Hebel so I imagine it’s just a matter of ensuring the awning brackets are secured to the door/window framing. Thanks!

I’m trying to install wardrobes and the power point is in the way. I’m wanting it removed as soon as possible please (desperate for wardrobes!). Ideally just to make it safe and allow my wardrobe to sit flush, then one day in the future we can relocate it. Brick walls. The wardrobe in the picture can be moved out of your way to do the job. Move 2 powerpoints from skirting board to wall above. Will need to be extended and surface mounted most likely. Install isolation switch for new induction cooktop, will probably also need to be surface mounted. Oven is not needed, so 20A circuit + cable from oven would be used as new dedicated circuit for the 4.7kW cooktop. Plenty of slack on it. New cooktop is ready to be wired in and go. Needs to be done by qualified electrician with COES issued for work.

I pulled out my old built in robes and there was no ceiling above them. I have two pieces of plaster that have been cut to size ready to go. I think I have all of the equipment (I’ll confirm with you before booking), including: - 3 lengths 42x19mm of premium pine for support - 50mm plasterboard screws - 60mm countersunk treated pine screws - joining tape - multi-filler - ladder and step ladder - drill driver and screw driver - multi filler. It doesn’t need to be pretty because I’m putting new wardrobes back in the space, so it won’t be seen. Please tell me your experience with installing plasterboard and your availability for today :) I can assist holding it up while you drill it in. Thanks!
