I disposed of ash from a portable fire pit (which had been extinguished around 14 hours earlier) into a green waste bin. The ash did not appear to be hot. I picked up the portable fire pit and emptied it directly into the bin. The bin was positioned next to the exterior wall of the house. At approximately 2.30am, I woke to find the bin alight. Scary as... The fire had spread to the adjacent exterior wall, causing soot damage and some damage to the hebel cladding, including exposed mesh in affected areas. The fire was quickly contained and extinguished thank god. But yeah some damage to be looked at / repaired. Just wanting to know the repair work required and the possibility of a suitable tasker to help repair it. Focussing mainly on wall cleaning an re-rendering. Not painting. I’m planning to paint it gray colour ourselves.

The dogs have scratched at the drywall where the doors to outside are. The front door will get away with just a spakfilla and a coat of paint although the wall next to sliding door has deep gouges and will take a bit more to repair, may still be able to sand it back and replaster it before painting it. Please include for painting too please.
