Hi Taskers! I have a granny flat on my property and a plumber switched off the hot water supply two years ago, as nobody needed hot water in there. Now I have a guest, so I'm looking for a person to come switch the water back on and test that hot water's running. A handyman has confirmed that this is a job for a professional gas plumber as a part of the pilot light system seems corroded and might need replacement, plus the gas is taking a while to flow into the system. My kitchen sink is currently blocked :( last night i tried to unblock it with draino crystals, and it looked ok, but this morning after running a dishwasher cycle water has now come up to the sink. The dishwasher itself is clean. Bathroom and toilet are still working, so I think this is isolated to the kitchen.

The flush is not working in my toilet. When I press the button, nothing is happening. I tried to open the flush toilet, and pour water. The water falls down again in the toilet. So it’s not staying in the flush tank
