Find an experienced plumber in Elwood

Toilet cistern is making a constant dripping sound and periodically sounds like it’s refilling, including during the night. I’ve turned off the water supply and flushed/emptied the cistern, but the dripping continues. It seems to be coming from around the inlet/fill valve, so it may need a new valve or seal, and possibly the isolation tap checked as well. Looking for a plumber to diagnose and repair, including replacement parts if needed. UPDATE: After turning the toilet water supply back on, the cistern is now continuously running/filling and won’t shut off. Turning the isolation tap off stops the supply. Suspect faulty inlet/fill valve, and possibly an issue with the isolation tap as there was still dripping after it was turned off.

I purchased a bidet from Amazon ready to be installed. Must be insured and qualified. Can be run off the sink or the cistern however, the fittings inside the cistern are quite tight. Happy to take the current lid off and have it prepared before your arrival. $100 for a straightforward installation. Cheers!

Fix a crack in the bathroom sink

My HWS is on off peak power. Since Monday the switch tripped immediately when power is on. hWS is quite old so may need replacing but for now I just need to fix the tripping problem to get the hot water back. I live in apartments, 3 levels build and HWS located in roof cavity. Was ok before, but there was a minor leaking at HWS and plumber stopped the leaking but tripping occurred after that. Cost can be discussed if the element or other items require replacing.

New mixer tap installed in kitchen sink is leaking at isolation valve which has been replaced and still leaking.

Following recent complaint from neighbouring Unit about damp wall had Plumber investigate. Report indicates "Spray tested shower cubicle and found immediate water escaping through grout lines. • Used thermal imaging and confirmed water tracking from shower area, likely beneath tiles, contributing to water ingress into neighbouring property." Think shower walls and base need grouting and waterproofing then rebuild of shower including tiles and walls and probably new shower screen. We think physical inspection needed to provide accurate quote.

Bathroom sink blocked, tried draino but it didn’t work. Need to unscrew and clean out the pipe below the sink. All is enough to access.
