1. Bathroom cabinet door soft close mechanism (perhaps also known as a soft close hinge) seems to have broken and isn’t working. Not sure whether it needs just fixing of the screws or to be completely replaced? 2. Also bathroom shower door rubber seems to have partially come off. Needs to be fixed.

Hi there — we’re looking for a reliable and experienced handyperson to help with a few small household jobs in our house: Jobs to be done: 1) Remove and replace 1 kitchen cabinet door (new door is pre-drilled; hinges supplied; see picture below showing door that needs removing and the replacement which is pre-drilled) 2) Remove and replace 1 kitchen end panel (panel already purchased; see picture of corner panel with water damage that needs removing) 3) Mount 1 coat rack and 1 single coat hook 4) Install 1 curtain rail (for french doors) All items have already been bought — you’ll just need to bring your own tools (drill, level, etc.) and the appropriate wall fixings. Wall info: We’re not 100% sure on the wall types, but here’s our best guess: - The coat hook is going onto a hollow plasterboard/drywall wall - The curtain rail looks like it’s going into dot and dab (plasterboard on a solid wall) - The coat rack may be either — we’ll show you on the day We have some screws and plugs but would prefer if you could bring a range of fixings suitable for both hollow and dot-and-dab walls (e.g. toggle bolts, long screws and wall plugs, GripIt, etc.). Details: Parking: We can give you a Lambeth resident visitor parking ticket if you provide your car registration . Timing: Flexible — ideally this weekend or next week. I bought a sliding bathroom door, but the metal bar that supports the sliding system is too wide. It needs to be cut and adjusted, and the door fitted afterward. The system is from COBURN sliding system and we have all the parts and specs necessary for assembly. The proper tools to cut the metal bar, need to be provided (we do not have the necessary tools).

Repair for the sliding doors in wardrobe

1. Reattach loose cupboard door to integrated washing machine all parts available except for metal plate to go on door where screws no longer will securely screw into the MDF. 2. Fit pop up waste (supplied) to ensuite sink. 3. Fit replacement waste cover (supplied) to ensuite shower tray. 4. Fit new pop up bath plug (supplied). 5. Quote for replacement of broken tiles and warped baseboard in kitchen after previous minor leak.

I have an outdoor tap with a tap lock on it but it’s gotten stuck and won’t come off. Need someone with plumbing experience to help me remove it.
