I have a glass shower enclosure (hinged door) that needs attention. Issues: * Bottom seal strip is damaged/missing * Silicone around tray and frame is old and needs removing and reapplying * General clean-up of grime build-up * Check door alignment and hinges I would like: * Replacement of bottom seal strip * Full removal and reapplication of silicone * Assessment of whether the enclosure is worth keeping or should be replaced If repair is not sufficient, I may consider replacing with a fixed glass panel + return panel setup. Everythink will arrive Sunday morning.. I just don't have the tools. it is already an FD30 door.. bottom hinge needs a pack as to much space between door and frame where lock is. Intumescents to be added to door frame all round . bottom of door to have smoke and fire brush.. and the door closer need to be add to auto close the door. success will be that the door closes by itself.. I can help you might need an intumescent router. I just have long term internal injury so I get in pain quickly when working with weight. Hi, I need a hand reversing the swing of an internal door in my living room. Right now it opens into the room and takes up a lot of space, so I’d like to change it to open out into the hallway on the opposite side. The job involves re-hanging the door, which will mean cutting new spots for the hinges and moving the strike plate so it latches properly. I'll also need the old holes filled with wood filler so I can paint over them later (can probably do it myself). I'm looking for someone who can make sure the door hangs straight and closes smoothly. The track on my sliding door wardrobe needs fixing. It slides along the bottom track. The above track is the issue. Personally I’m not sure that it’s fixable and need completely replacing. I think a better solution would be to screw some small corner braces from screwfix onto the above frame to hold it in place and stop it from falling.
